Certain types have been found to be more effective than others at achieving this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below are six of the best teas for increasing weight loss and decreasing body fat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. GREEN TEA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/images.immediate.co.uk\/production\/volatile\/sites\/30\/2020\/08\/green-tea-1574c69.jpg?webp=true&amp;quality=90&amp;resize=385%2C350\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green tea is one of the most well-known types of tea, and is linked with many health benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s also one of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/e45828qgvah03l7zqllv7m1buw.hop.clickbank.net\/\">most effective teas for weight loss.<\/a> There is substantial evidence linking green tea to decreases in both weight and body fat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one 2008 study, 60 obese people followed a standardized diet for 12 weeks while regularly drinking either green tea or a placebo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the course of the study, those who drank green tea lost 7.3 pounds (3.3 kg) more weight than the placebo group<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another study found that people who consumed green tea extract\nfor 12 weeks experienced significant decreases in body weight, body fat and\nwaist circumference, compared to a control group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This may be because green tea\nextract is especially high in catechins, naturally occurring antioxidants that\nmay boost your metabolism and increase fat burning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This same effect also applies to&nbsp;matcha, a highly concentrated type of powdered green tea that contains the same beneficial ingredients as regular green tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2.PUERH TEA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"http:\/\/naturetea.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/8.shamans-drum-07023-600x600.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Also known as pu\u2019er or pu-erh tea, puerh tea is a type of\nChinese black tea that has been fermented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is often enjoyed after a meal,\nand has an earthy aroma that tends to develop the longer it\u2019s stored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some animal studies have shown\nthat puerh tea may lower blood sugar and blood triglycerides. And studies in\nanimals and humans have shown that puerh tea may be able to help enhance weight\nloss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one study, 70 men were given\neither a capsule of puerh tea extract or a placebo. BLACK TEA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/freshtea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/black-tea-benefits.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Black tea is a type of tea that has undergone more oxidation\nthan other types, such as green, white or oolong teas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oxidation is a chemical reaction\nthat happens when the tea leaves are exposed to the air, resulting in browning\nthat causes the characteristic dark color of black tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are many different types\nand blends of black tea available, including popular varieties like Earl Grey\nand English breakfast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several studies have found that\nblack tea could be effective when it comes to weight control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One study of 111 people found\nthat drinking three cups of black tea each day for three months significantly\nincreased weight loss and reduced waist circumference, compared to drinking a\ncaffeine-matched control beverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some theorize that black tea\u2019s\npotential weight loss effects may be because it\u2019s high in flavones, a type of\nplant pigment with antioxidant properties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A study followed 4,280 adults\nover 14 years. It found that those with a higher flavone intake from foods and\nbeverages like black tea had a lower body mass index (BMI) than those with a\nlower flavone intake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this study looks only at the association between BMI and flavone intake. Further research is needed to account for other factors that may be involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. OOLONG TEA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/cdn11.bigcommerce.com\/s-3apqubyis6\/images\/stencil\/1024x1024\/products\/137\/530\/OBT2__49054.1570762348.jpg?c=2\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Oolong tea&nbsp;is a traditional Chinese tea that has been\npartially oxidized, putting it somewhere between green tea and black tea in\nterms of oxidation and color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is often described as having a\nfruity, fragrant aroma and a unique flavor, though these can vary significantly\ndepending on the level of oxidation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Several studies have shown that\noolong tea could help enhance weight loss by improving fat burning and speeding\nup metabolism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In one study, 102 overweight or\nobese people drank oolong tea every day for six weeks, which may have helped\nreduce both their body weight and body fat. The researchers proposed the tea\ndid this by improving the metabolism of fat in the body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another small study gave men\neither water or tea for a three-day period, measuring their metabolic rates.\nCompared to water, oolong tea increased energy expenditure by 2.9%, the\nequivalent of burning an additional 281 calories per day, on average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While more studies on the effects of oolong tea are needed, these findings show that oolong could be potentially beneficial for weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>5. WHITE TEA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img src=\"https:\/\/purechinesetea.com\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2019\/06\/whitetea.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>White tea stands out among other types of tea because it is\nminimally processed and harvested while the tea plant is still young.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>White tea has a distinct flavor\nvery different from other types of tea.
